~It's a Trend~

   We all have that feeling on the first day of school...you know, the butterflies in the stomach and all the worries running through your head.  Well the other day I was thinking, this year I am going to shed that feeling of worry and nerves.  I want to be confident on my first day of school,  so I got to it!  The first step to confidence is being comfortable with yourself.  Being comfortable with yourself is something that everybody struggles with especially me.  Everyday I just kept telling myself, I am not insecure and am proud of who I am, and if I ever disagreed with myself I would work on making a person I was proud of.  And then the day came....and I had to face the first day of school?!?


   As I walked through the doors I kept my shoulders back and my head up and took my day as it came.  If I ever started to feel insecure I just told myself, Why?  Because I knew that the person next to me was feeling the same way and that on the first day of school, everybody is in the same boat.  So if you ever want some inspiration, some fabulous tips or just somebody to talk to about that kind of stuff just email me, tweet me, or message me on youtube!  Thanks!

Freak for Fall Fashion.....2011 Fall Trends

   Hey girls!  Ever notice that the trends are falling towards fall faster than you can think!  Today I am going to fill you in on everything you may have missed!  The first trend is dots.  Stripes may have been in last season but drag in the dots!  Polka dots are the top of this seasons trends along with long tailed coats. Now I am sure you all know the saying in with the old, out with the new!  You heard me right...another of this season's hottest fashions is sixties style.  That means tunics paired with pants and some bigger than life colors.

Another trend this season is less is more and and this season this is especially popular.  Sportswear that's chic, simple, and pure is what fall is all about!

    Embrace the embellishment!  Embellishment is huge this season and when the ensemble is very textured, layered, and a dramatic color you will be the top of the fashion trends.

  Bet you never had to use math for fashion?  Well think again because geometric, tailored, and crisp design is one of the most popular trends this season.  Plaid is also platinum and is being brought back in draped dresses and a sinched waist!  Heres another trend so strap yourself in because it is going to be a leathered up season.  But this time the trend is not coming in a pair of shoes but in a full blown outfit.  Dresses, skirt and any other form of garment you can think of.

Hot Pink vs. Rose Gold Nail Polish

As all of you know hot pink nail polish is usually a must have for the summer months!  But this year it has some competition...rose gold nail polish is huge this summer.  I can see why though, it is sparkly, festive, and pretty much goes with anything.  It may not make the same statement as the hot pink nail polishes but it certainly does look classy and sophisticated! 

As a person that has tried both and loves both colors I must say if I had to choose between my pool party nail polish from china glaze or a rose gold polish I think now I would choose the rose gold polish!  I think that it is so sparkly and shiny that it still makes a statement and is summery while still being classic and elegant.  It is a polish you can dress up or down!  Go check out a rose gold nail polish and hopefully I will be doing a video on my favorite rose gold polishes super soon!  I hope you all are well and I love you all!  Go subscribe to my youtube channel, glitterandgloss13 if you haven't already and enjoy your summer!  Bring on the rose gold!
